Privacy policy

1. Data controller

Flopix, sole proprietorship of Vincent PIERNOT, 3 rue Amiral Guépratte, 57070 Metz, France (see the legal notice). Contact for any question about your data: contact@flopix.fr.

2. Data processed on this website

Waiting list. Your email and, if you provide them, your business and the plan you are interested in. Purpose: notifying you of Flopia's launch. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Retention: until you unsubscribe, and at most two years after launch.

Private area. The email and password (stored in hashed form, never in clear text) of authorised people, and test conversations with the assistant. Purpose: testing and improving Flopia. Legal basis: Flopix's legitimate interest. Retention: during the test phase.

Technical logs. IP address, requested page, date and browser, recorded by the server. Purpose: security and proper operation. Legal basis: legitimate interest. Retention: at most 12 months.

3. Conversations with Flopia on a customer's website

When Flopia is installed on a business customer's website, that business will be the controller of its visitors' conversations, and Flopix its processor. These conversations will be processed only to provide the service, hosted in France, and will be neither sold nor used to train another company's model. Avoid sharing sensitive data in them (health, bank details, passwords).

4. Artificial intelligence

Flopia's AI model runs on Flopix servers, at OVHcloud in France. Messages are not sent to a third-party artificial intelligence provider. No decision producing legal effects concerning you is made solely by automated means.

5. Recipients and processors

  • OVH SAS (OVHcloud), Roubaix, France: hosting of the website, database and AI model.
  • Cloudflare, Inc.: domain name management (DNS).

Only the authorised Flopix team accesses the data. It is never sold, rented or transferred for commercial purposes, and is not transferred outside the European Union for processing.

6. Cookies and local storage

The website uses no advertising or audience measurement cookies. Only two strictly necessary cookies may be set:

  • flopia_sid: private area session, set when you log in, for at most 30 days;
  • flopia_langue: the language you chose with the FR / EN button, for at most one year.

The private area also keeps test conversations in your browser's local storage. These essential items, or items set at your request, do not require consent.

7. Security

Exchanges are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are irreversibly hashed, and server access is restricted and key-protected.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise them: contact@flopix.fr. We reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
